The local allotments aren’t looking at their best at the moment, but seeing them reminded me – is this the year I’m going to apply for one and grow my own veg? It makes sense. I didn’t do it before because I was so busy with my darling horse, but now he has gone, why not? It gives me fresh air, exercise, healthy food and a new hobby – where do I sign up?
