I’m a journalist and editor with more than 20 years’ experience under my belt. I’ve worked in local newspapers, consumer and business magazines, and since first going freelance many moons ago I have written on many different subjects. These include health, wellbeing, travel, beauty, fashion, family life, interiors, business, marketing, TV and horses.
Over the years I have also worked agency-side as a PR account manager, as a copywriter for a housebuilding company and as a freelance PR and copywriter offering support to small businesses and charities.
After eight years as a staff copywriter I returned to the precarious – yet exciting – world of freelancing in 2022. Currently I write regularly for The Sun (Sun Shopping) and My Weekly, which is a magazine for women aged 50+, so in other words, my age group 😊
I also write for other publications and clients as and when I’m commissioned and so far these have included the Evening Standard, Discover Benelux, Good To Know and Potton Self Build.
