So, I’m in Berlin!
I arrived this afternoon and I’m here until Friday evening, and I can’t wait to explore. The Concorde Hotel is gorgeous, but I can’t see much out of the window except other buildings, so I don’t know how close I am to historic places or things to see. I did mean to buy a city guide at Stansted but completely forgot.
Welcome to Berlin! |
I’m here along with various other journalists for a factory tour, new home appliances launch and a visit to what promises to be the most enormous exhibition – the IFA, the world’s largest consumer electronics show.
There will be lots of digital loveliness I’m sure, but what I’m interested in are the latest high-tech home appliances that will be making their debut at this exhibition. I’ve already heard about a transparent fridge and I’m sure there’s loads more just waiting for me to discover. All products designed to make our lives easier.
In the meantime, until I have images of those brand spanking new goodies to upload, here is my experience of Berlin so far – my room, bathroom and view from the window!
I’m making a mess already |
See how the floor tiles match the vanity unit? They continue into the shower so creating a wetroom |
A chic, minimalist lamp – I like this |
I've not been to Berlin but I've been to Munich and LoVED IT. The food is great. When I travel I think museums and food, not necessarily in that order :0)
