Travel – The Coniston Hotel

September 27, 2012

Dot and I spent a lovely evening at The Coniston Hotel in North Yorkshire a few weeks ago, it really is a lovely place and super friendly staff. I’m pleased to announce I wrote a review of our stay for online newspaper the Yorkshire Times – my first for them but not my last. You can read the review here. Let me know what you think.

Wow! That bedroom looks great. Whenever we go away to a hotel we always ask the same question first: "How big is the bed?" When you are used to a super-king-sized bed, nothing else will do.

The room was amazing. Unfortunately though we had twin beds as it was me and my daughter so they presumed we would want separate beds. They of course don't know that at the age of 11 she still loves to sleep in my bed.

The hotel was fab, it really was and we both loved our stay there. Thank you for your comment

I live in the countryside with my dogs and cat, and I love horses, yoga and running (sometimes). Writing is what I do - I've tried other things, but keep coming back to it. And I'm learning to meditate.
