Melvita has a new self-tan lotion out. I’ve used it and like it as it’s very subtle, giving a golden glow rather than a Tango orange effect. It is also lightly fragranced and doesn’t smell like the usual self tans. If found it went on smoothly, sank into my skin quickly and didn’t leave streak marks or give my yellow hands. A keeper I think.
Marc Jacobs’ Daisy fragrance comes in a cute little limited edition flower bottle for this summer and in two variations Daisy and Daisy Eau So Fresh. This scent has been around a few years now but the designer always manages to come up with versions that are subtly different. It’s available at the Perfume Shop and costs £24.50.
Miners’ new summer blush compacts are very pretty and at £4.49 won’t break the bank. They come in peach and pink combinations, with a textured finish that is very on trend at the moment. Miners has also launched two lip colours – Mood Gloss in Peace Pout and Glastonberry, £2.49 each – that change colour (probably more according to how hot you are than the mood you’re in, though I haven’t tried them so can’t say for sure). I think I’ve remarked in the past that this brand is suited to young rather than (ahem) more mature skin and my view is reinforced with these latest products that smell to me of sherbet!
Hi Lisa,
Loving the blog and pleased to see you're still as beauty mad as ever! Next time you're in London on launches we should try to meet up for a good gossip, it'd be great to see you. Rachel x
